Join Fulton Hogan as a Project Engineer in Canterbury and help deliver the civil infrastructure that keeps communities connected. Ngā kawenga matua | Key responsibilities
- Support the delivery of high-quality civil construction projects across the Canterbury region.
- Own project planning, programming, cost control and reporting.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and onsite resources.
- Support bidding and pricing with practical, constructable solutions.
- Champion health and safety, quality and continuous improvement on site.

- Relevant tertiary qualifications and solid civil construction experience.
- 2+ years of experience as a Project Engineer on projects greater than $5M.
- Proven experience in asphalt, surfacing, pavements or broader civil construction.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and onsite resources to keep delivery on track.
- A strong safety focus and a practical, solutions-driven mindset.
- Confidence leading crews, resolving issues and making good calls under pressure.
- A collaborative, team-first approach and the ability to build strong working relationships across crews, clients and delivery partners.

Skills Required
