Your tasks
Responsibilities
- Participate and support the sales phase, if needed performing data analysis and conceptual design
- Active participation of project procurement process supporting with technical clarification
- Understand and takeover the conceptual design from sales and establish detailed engineering drawings
- Develop technical specifications demonstrating the functionality of the solution
- Adhere to project engineering process
- Act as single point contact for internal and external stakeholders on engineering topics
- Manage and confidently report on engineering progress into the formal project channel
- Pro-actively manages technical risks, opportunities and technical amendments with workable solutions
- Support projects within APAC region as needed
- Apply safety standards in the design and engineering of the solution
- Build solid working relationships with all levels of stakeholders
- Support in continuous learning process and supporting the standardisation of solution, tools, documents and processes
Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a similar field
- Intermediate to advance in engineering CAD tools (AutoCAD and Pcon will be a plus)
- Proven portfolio of completed projects
- 2 to 5 years’ experience in engineering within the automation industry, AutoStore experience will be an amazing differentiator!
- Experience in technical procurement activities including writing and responding to quotes/tender/RFP
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Clear focus on high quality and ensuring all the customers' needs are met
- Ability to establish effective working relationships across the boundaries
- Experience with pre-sales
- Structured and fluent in presentation skill
- Familiar and/or accredited in industry safety standards is an added advantage
- Good understanding of intra-logistics processes is an advantage
- Willingness to travel regularly to sites.
