Project Engineer
Your Role and Impact
As a Project Engineer, you will work with internal and external stakeholders to develop new products, technologies and customer-specific solutions. You’ll also coordinate the daily local order fulfillment activities on assigned projects. Additional responsibilities include quotation support, routine engineering analysis, detailed layout/mechanical design and operations support.
Key Responsibilities :
Work as Project Manager for existing project, when assigned
Review and modify master schedule compliance against customer delivery requirements
Provide the engineering support and assist QA to obtain customer approvals for deviations
Contract review and specifications with QA, Purchasing, and Engineering where applicable especially before/during order entry stage
Customer interface and become Voice of Customer (VOC).
Commercial and technical compliance
Facilitator for technical discussions on major buyouts
Report site management over constraints/conflicts with other PM’s and functions when possible
Verify all Sales Order lines are properly closed by responsible function.
Understand technical scope of work which will requires further training defined by technical groups.
Pass down order information to relevant party in timely manner (ahead of due date).
Pursue change orders for price and delivery date adjustments.
Review budget versus “Estimated Cost” – Generate Final Cost Estimate and SAP when necessary
Closely work with Finance for accurate revenue recognition (POC / PIT)
Manage project engineering related documentation submittals and returns.
Attend customer kick off meetings when required
Expedite other functional areas to ensure timely submittals of documentation and equipment delivery and
functional goals. Understand Cheonan procedures and capabilities during contract review.
Assist Traffics ability to assemble packing lists in preparation for shipment
Issue Purchase Requisition in timely manner
Required Qualifications
BS in Engineering discipline, preferably mechanical engineering; and/or combination of education and experience
Minimum of 5 years relevant working experience incl. nuclear products
Project management skills and ability to use MS Project software
Ability to communicate in English to liaise with overseas stakeholders
Excellent communication skills
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
Ability to work in a CIP environment

Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline, preferably mechanical engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience, including experience with nuclear products
