What you'll do:
Resource for strategic corporate projects. Design and implement various facilities initiatives with consideration to industrial ventilation, dust collection, cooling towers and heat exchangers, pumping and piping systems, chemical processes, wastewater, HVAC, area layouts, building envelope & grounds, and energy-savings improvements.
Coordinate resources and drive timelines for construction and site implementation projects.
Obtain professional drawings and approvals when required through consulting services.
Provide Engineering internal company guidance.
Focal for implementation of company Environmental Social Governance (ESG) projects including GreenERmro energy efficiency & environmental impact improvements.
Identify and develop projects to support Continuous Improvement for various energy and operational savings initiatives.
Assist with establishing and overseeing various trades and contractors for performing project and maintenance work.
Execute projects small and large as the Project Manager, working individually or part of a larger team, with a large variety of concurrent tasks and projects.
Troubleshoot equipment, facility, and engine test systems to provide technical support and coordination for the Maintenance Team.
Establish preventative and predictive maintenance opportunities for facility systems and industrial equipment. Provide written and verbal feedback to internal customers requiring facilities engineering support for new and existing systems.
Provide the above support remotely to over 30 sites globally.
Provide remote or call-in support for critical after-hours facility and maintenance issues.
Requires 30% of domestic and international travel.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering or in a related engineering field
- Two (2) years of experience as a Project Engineer, Facilities Engineer or a related role.
- Special Requirements: Work experience with: Overseeing all phases of project execution for multiple facilities projects
- Supporting Continuous Improvement for various energy and operational savings initiatives
- Interpreting and reviewing technical drawings; coordinating various trades and contractors
- Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, fire, health and safety standards, building, plumbing, and electrical codes
- Troubleshooting equipment, facility, and engine test systems
- Technical project management and strategic business management skills
- Technical structural, and mechanical engineering knowledge
- Ability to prepare technical scope and perform cost-benefit analysis for capital investments.

Skills Required
