The Project Engineer will be responsible for executing defined portions of engineering project scope, including equipment specification and selection, preparation of drawings and technical documentation, and coordination with internal teams, vendors, and third‑party partners.
The role supports procurement, fabrication, installation, and startup activities, and is expected to deliver high‑quality work with minimal errors while applying established engineering standards and procedures.
What will you do:
- Execute defined portions of engineering project scope, supporting the design and delivery of industrial systems from concept through installation.
- Prepare and maintain engineering deliverables such as equipment specifications, data sheets, layouts, pipe class documents, and bills of material.
- Review and coordinate equipment selection, vendor drawings, and technical submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Work closely with project managers, senior engineers, and internal design teams to support schedules, priorities, and technical execution.
- Coordinate with vendors and third‑party partners (such as seismic or modeling consultants) to support design validation and integration.
- Support procurement, fabrication, installation, and startup activities by resolving technical questions and reviewing field or shop documentation.
- Participate in BIM and model coordination efforts, including layout reviews, clash resolution, and interconnect support.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and data within established engineering systems and tools.
- Apply established engineering standards, procedures, and safety practices consistently across all assigned work.
- Apply practical understanding of pressure, flow, head loss, fluid properties, materials of construction, and system operating conditions when selecting equipment or reviewing designs.
- Evaluate chemical compatibility of wetted materials, gaskets, seals, coatings, piping materials, valves, and equipment components for water treatment and chemical feed applications.

Minimum Qualifications
- B.S. degree in the mechanical or chemical engineering discipline from an accredited university or other related qualified training, plus a minimum of three (3) years directly related experience; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in the water treatment industry or Semiconductor Wafer Fab environment with UPW & WWT will be an added advantage.
- Training and Experience in AutoCAD and piping skid design are preferred.
- Experience in BIM and model coordination strongly desired
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals with demonstrated understanding of fluid systems, equipment sizing, pressure drop, pump selection, valve selection, and piping system behavior.
- Working knowledge of chemical compatibility and materials selection for wetted components used in industrial water treatment, chemical feed, UPW, reclaim, or wastewater systems.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate across engineering, project management, procurement, vendors, and construction stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Bluebeam for structured drawing review, comment tracking, revision comparison, and QA/QC workflows.
- Knowledge of equipment specifications for pumps, pressure vessels, tanks, filters, valves, instrumentation interfaces, and packaged skid systems.
- Knowledge of water treatment technologies include filtration, membrane treatment, ion exchange treatment, and reclaim water treatment.
