Main Duties (including but not limited to):
- Coordinate with all departments involved in the development of engineering drawings, technical studies, fabrication sequence/method of work , etc.
- Prepare MTO and prepare Purchase Requisition/Purchase Order all material required for the job.
- Review Client Project Specification, Client Drawings and ensure it is implemented in the shop drawing.
- Provide input and review on the Shop Drawing before it is issued to Production. The Engineering prepares the detailed shop drawing.
- Prepare the necessary Procedure required for the project fabrication execution
- Assist Sr. Project Engineer or Project Manager to prepare Detailed Fabrication Sequence
- Co-ordination of all production activities and the maintenance of production schedules.
- Coordinating with Clients for any project related matters and problem solving. Prepare the Technical Queries/Site Queries as required to formalize the technical proposal / site queries to Client.
- Ensuring availability of adequate and suitably qualified personnel and resources.
- Supervision of material control, logistics and shipping staff.
- Ensuring the provision of adequate resources to maintain an effective plant and equipment maintenance program.
- Maintenance of good house-keeping standards within Company’s fabrication facility.
- Administration of the Contract and its Budget control. Understand the change order management and assist Project Manager to prepare the Variation Work Orders.
- Developing project schedule to meet client requirements and its monitoring.
- Coordination and Monitoring of project material procurement.
- Monitoring of overall progress of the project and its control.
- Studying cost status and report to the management if there is deviation in project budget.
- To report any unsafe act or condition to the immediate superior or HSE department and be role of model and perform report safety leadership in his/her own area.
- Prepare Daily Progress Report (if required), Weekly Progress Report and Monthly Progress Report to Client
- Be able to review the 3D Model and understand the Detailed scope of works required for the projects.
Skills Required
- Coordinate development of engineering drawings and fabrication method statements
- Prepare Material Take-Off (MTO) and issue Purchase Requisitions/Purchase Orders
- Review client project specifications and drawings and ensure implementation in shop drawings
- Provide input and review shop drawings prior to production
- Prepare fabrication procedures required for project execution
- Assist senior project engineer or project manager with detailed fabrication sequencing
- Coordinate production activities and maintain production schedules
- Coordinate with clients on project matters and prepare technical/site queries

- Supervise material control, logistics, and shipping staff
- Support plant and equipment maintenance programs and good housekeeping
- Administer contract and budget control, assist with change order/variation management
- Develop and monitor project schedules to meet client requirements
- Coordinate and monitor project material procurement
- Monitor overall project progress and cost status and report deviations
- Report unsafe acts or conditions and demonstrate safety leadership
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports to client
- Ability to review 3D models and understand detailed scope of work
