We are currently recruiting multiple Project Engineers to join our team in NSW and support the delivery of multiple long-term projects in NSW.
In this position, you will play an integral role in managing trade subcontractors and suppliers to deliver a successful construction project. This includes developing and maintaining construction programs, implementing the procurement strategy, value engineering, managing quality and ensuring high levels of Health and Safety at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage medium and short-range construction programs.
Design management and coordination.
Client management and liaison.
Procurement of tender packages and preparation of subcontract agreements.
Review and sign-off of subcontractor claims and variations.
Preparation of cost forecasts and manage cost controls/reporting for designated work areas.
Implementation of project EHS and quality plans and project management plan requirements.
About You
Ideally 3 to 5 years' experience in the construction industry, preferably on large-scale building construction projects. (I.e. Commercial, residential, defence and healthcare).
Previous on-site construction delivery experience, looking after building fitouts
Degree qualification in a relevant field of study (Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management etc).
Clear and articulate communication skills coupled with an ability to manage stakeholders, both internally and externally.
High attention to detail, excellent organisational and time management skills with problem solving ability.
