Overview
We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Project Engineer to support the delivery of Workplace Technology Solutions across client environments. This role involves on-site project execution, technical coordination, and ensuring successful implementation of integrated workplace systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end project delivery for Workplace Technology Solutions, including AV, IT infrastructure, unified communications, and smart workplace systems
- Work on-site at client locations to oversee installations, troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning activities
- Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics to guide implementation and ensure alignment with design specifications
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Conduct site surveys, assessments, and documentation of technical requirements
- Ensure all installations comply with technical standards, safety regulations, and client requirements
- Perform system testing, integration, and user acceptance support (UAT)
- Provide technical support during and post-deployment
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including as-built drawings and reports
Requirements
- Proven experience in Workplace Technology Solutions (AV systems) is a must
- Must have experience working on-site at client locations in a project delivery capacity
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals, AV systems, and integrated technologies
- Experience with systems such as video conferencing (e.g., Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms), access control, or IoT workplace solutions
- Knowledge of project management methodologies
