NoorNation is Egypt's first African renewable energy development and manufacturing startup, providing decentralized solar-powered energy and water solutions across Egypt and Sub-Saharan Africa. Its flagship product, LifeBox, is a mobile, solar-powered unit that delivers clean electricity and safe water to farming, tourism, and rural communities. Designed and manufactured in Egypt, LifeBox supports sustainability, industrial localization, and economic growth while improving access to essential resources in underserved areas.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end execution of solar energy projects, from site assessment and system design to installation, testing, handover, and after-sales support.
- Oversee factory operations, including engineering, production, assembly, testing, and technician supervision.
- Design solar PV systems, prepare technical drawings, layouts, BOQs/BOMs, and ensure compliance with technical standards.
- Use engineering and project management software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, PVSyst, PVSol, Primavera, MS Project) for design, simulation, planning, and execution.
- Coordinate with customers, developers, lenders, and investors to resolve technical issues and ensure successful project delivery.
- Prepare documentation, maintain cost estimates and supplier information, generate progress reports and MIS, and support data analysis.
- Travel to project sites across Egypt as needed while maintaining high organizational and communication standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 1 year of experience in the solar or renewable energy industry.
- Knowledge of solar PV systems, energy storage, and solar design tools (e.g., PVSyst, PVSol).
- Familiarity with relevant electrical codes, HSE standards, and solar project financing is an advantage.
- Strong communication, time management, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of contracts, budgets, financial models, and renewable energy technologies.
Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

- Experience with solar design tools and simulation software (PVSyst, PVSol) and solar PV system design knowledge.
