Your Role
- Perform comprehensive computer-aided and manual structural design calculations in accordance with applicable building and material codes, ensuring precision and attention to detail throughout all phases of the project.
- Prepare and oversee the development of structural models, calculation packages, construction documents, and specifications.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to plan project layouts and integrate structural elements into cohesive designs.
- Participate in internal and external project meetings, coordinating with other disciplines.
- Conduct field work, including site verifications, assessments, and troubleshooting.
- Perform construction administration duties, including periodic site visits to ensure compliance with design intent.
- Support the development and maintenance of engineering standards.
- Participate in the team’s quality assurance and quality control processes.
- Mentor team members in the use of structural calculation software and assist with task organization.
- Lead and coordinate structural engineering projects as Engineer of Record (EOR), when assigned.
- Conduct peer reviews, and prepare reports on findings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- 5+ years of experience in a structural engineering role
- Proficiency in Revit
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and provide technical guidance to team members
- Deliver timely, reliable, and courteous service
