Fulton Hogan is searching for a skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Project Manager/Operations Manager in Whangārei, this is your chance to play a pivotal role in the safe, efficient, and productive delivery of civil construction projects. In addition to the above you will:  

  • Leading project teams in the successful execution and delivery of construction projects.

  • Overseeing the day-to-day running of the project site and works, ensuring progress stays on track.

  • Preparing accurate documentation, correspondence, programming, and cost estimates.

  • Scheduling works, procuring contractor services, and providing the technical expertise required for high-quality outcomes.

  • Championing and enforcing Health & Safety, environmental protection, and quality standards to ensure every job is completed to spec, on time, and with minimal waste.

  • Motivating your team, upholding company values, and acting with professionalism and integrity at all times.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • A Bachelor of Civil Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution.

  • At least 5 years’ experience as an Engineer in civil contracting.

  • A full class 1 driver's licence.

  • Working knowledge of relevant legislation and NZ civil engineering principles.

  • Demonstrated experience in project management.
