Responsibilities
- Manage fee claims and billing processes to ensure timely payments for services rendered and disbursements to sub-consultants (DEDC, M&E, and specialist consultants) for ongoing KSSB work packages.
- Review and coordinate Bills of Quantities (BQ) with HQ, DEDC, and QS to ensure accuracy and completeness of rates and items.
- Resolve design and site issues by coordinating between design consultants and site teams, supporting submissions, reviews, and audits with clients and external parties.
- Manage design changes and variation works, ensuring timely submissions and approvals from the client.
- Oversee deliverables from sub-consultants, specialist consultants, and contractors across all project phases (e.g., value engineering, tender documentation, and construction).
- Prepare TORs, management papers, LOAs, and evaluations for internal use and liaise with authorities to obtain necessary design, construction, and operational approvals.
- Support the Project Director and Project Manager in business planning, AOP projections, fee review, and related corporate and commercial matters.
- Monitor work progress and verify interim payment claims from contractors and consultants, including sub-consultants and WP contractors, in coordination with QS.
- Assist in developing communication workflows and quality control mechanisms, supporting the Project Manager and Resident Engineer for effective design supervision.
- Review monthly progress reports from contractors, identify potential risks, and assist in proposing mitigation or contingency measures when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
- 3 to 10 years of total work experience, with at least 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in commercial and design matters within the civil engineering field.
- Basic understanding of invoicing and contract payment provisions, including fee claims and disbursement processes.
- Strong coordination, communication, and planning skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and stakeholders.
- Proactive, organized, and a collaborative team player, capable of managing logistics and project timelines.
Skills Required
