Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer (Projects & Design) to join our Brisbane team, contributing to the design and delivery of complex electrical systems and engineered solutions for high-profile projects.

About the Role
As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and delivery of electrical systems, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop low-voltage electrical systems and switchboards
- Produce engineering drawings, schematics, calculations, and technical documentation
- Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), commissioning, troubleshooting, and system validation activities
- Ensure designs comply with relevant Australian and international standards including AS/NZS, IEC, ANZEx, and IECEx requirements
- Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and continuous safety improvement initiatives
- Collaborate closely with project managers, manufacturing teams, contractors, and customers to deliver high-quality outcomes
- Provide technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle from concept through to commissioning
About You
We're looking for a motivated engineer who enjoys working on technically challenging projects and thrives in a collaborative environment.
You will bring:
- Electrical trade background and/or Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 4 years' experience in electrical design and project delivery
- RPEQ registration, or the ability to obtain registration
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and PowerCAD
- Experience designing switchboards and LV electrical systems
- Sound understanding of Australian electrical standards and compliance requirements
Highly Regarded:
- Experience within mining, oil & gas, defence, manufacturing, utilities, or other hazardous industrial environments
- Knowledge of instrumentation, hazardous area installations, and Ex-certified equipment
- Familiarity with hazardous area certification processes and IECEx requirements
