Program Structure:
- Duration/Schedule: Flexible part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer months.
- Location: Shawano, WI Onsite
- Start Date: May 2026
What We’re Looking For:
- Enrollment in a four-year degree program in Engineering or a related field with current status of at least a Sophomore level.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Ability to succeed in a team environment.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- AutoCAD experience.
What You’ll Focus On:
- Lead 1–2 small safety projects from start to finish, including design, coordination, and implementation.
- Work directly with operations, vendors, and fabricators to align project scope and execution.
- Assist with design and specification of equipment for the HEL2 / bar line consolidation project.
- Create and modify designs in SolidWorks; support development of fabrication-ready drawings.
- Observe and learn about foundry equipment, material flow, and process fundamentals.
- Summarize contributions in a final presentation to site leadership.
