About the role:

This position will help manage high-level projects that provide ConvaTec's Haina facility with significant return on investment and a 80% reduction in plastic packaging. With an extensive program of packaging innovation ahead, this role needs to be someone who is excited to deliver environmentally rewarding packaging material and technology changes.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Create detailed work plans for assigned projects which identify and sequence the activities
• needed to successfully complete each project.
• Develop schedules for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities.
• Develop presentations, reports etc. for project reporting.
• Set up administrative and system files to ensure documentation and tracking.
• Monitor the progress of the project and adjust as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project.
• Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders including appropriate staff in the organization on the progress of the project.
• Develop proficiently with company project management tools to manage, track and report on project progress.
• Promotes teamwork and develops strong relationships across functions, while effectively directing the utilization of resources to achieve business objectives more effectively.
• Establishes, develops, and maintains positive relationships with support groups and providers.
• Ask for ideas and opinions to specifically assist in decisions or plans. Actively seeks the opinions and perspectives of individuals of diverse backgrounds and interests.
• Executes plans and priorities to meet global operational objectives based on the strategic objectives of Global Manufacturing and Supply Chain.
• Maintains, disseminates, and leverages learning from process and project improvement initiatives through ConvaTec, sharing industry best practices.
• Develop and maintain training programs to keep engineering personnel informed of current technology in relation to operations.
• Develop and implement corrective improvement plans, in accordance with operational objectives.
• Take responsibility for the results and make reasonable efforts to achieve all objectives related to the areas of Engineering and Technique.
• Assist in creating, approving, and executing validation documentation.
• Assist in the delivery of Labelling/Artwork changes.

About you:

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in manufacturing companies, with proven track record in Continuous Improvement Projects and Project Management, including team leadership and coordination, strategic planning and operations management, development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), budget control and cost optimization, supplier communication and relationship management and documentation tracking and compliance.
• Proficiency in various computer software applications (e.g., SAP).
• Proficiency in the use of MS Word, MS Project, MS Excel, database software, MS Outlook.

Qualifications/Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Industrial Engineer or related careers.
• Project Management certification (LEAN, Agile, Scrum or equivalent) preferred.
