Purpose
Design integrated PCM automation systems of medium size and complexity, using the DNP protocol for any market based on the objective instructions of the Engineering Services Management to carry out the designs of integrated systems, in time, on budget and under the required quality standards.
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Design the development of automation systems integrated PCM of medium size and complexity using DNP protocol for any market for concentrator and UTR applications, so that they are delivered to the client on time, on budget and under the required quality standards.
2. Participate in tests, commissioning and training of Integrated PCM Systems to validate the design and functionality of these systems.
3. Review information and budgets of projects at industrial, distribution and sub-transmission levels, so that together with the Headquarters or the leader of Automation Engineering II and Project Management they agree the margins of execution of the project with the Management of proposals.
4. Develop the conceptual engineering, of industrial level projects, distribution and sub-transmission, which will be the basis for the development of the Application Engineering developed by the Design Pool, the design of the HMIs and/or the integration developed in conjunction with Protection Engineering.
5. Develop lists of signals for integration and automation systems, understanding the application defined in Conceptual Engineering to meet the information needs of the systems.
6. Design the distribution of components in boards, cabinets and assemblies used in PCM Integrated systems, to guarantee the feasibility of Manufacturing.
7. Prepare the list of materials for Integrated systems design projects in order to be the basis for the acquisition of materials for the project.
8. Develop in the elaboration of diagrams such as: communication architecture diagrams, control schematics, wiring diagrams and logic diagrams in order to obtain integrated system designs with high quality standards.
9. Review and Approve the engineering developed by the design pool, in order to be released for manufacturing.
10. Develop basic and advanced algorithms in human-machine interface applications and in equipment control and automation settings for perform calculations with variables of the integrated system and add functionality to it.
11. Carry out adjustments and communication tests in the laboratory of the integrated systems in order to guarantee the correct acquisition of data from the intelligent devices that make up the integrated systems.
