Role Overview 

As a Project Engineer & Contract Manager at Huntsman, you will manage site contractors and support engineering projects at our Duxford site. Acting as the link between Maintenance and Engineering teams, you will ensure safe, compliant execution of work, oversee risk assessments and permits, and contribute to project delivery and continuous improvement. This hands-on role suits individuals with strong organizational skills and technical expertise.

Role Responsibilities 

  • Manage contractors and ensure safety compliance 

  • Coordinate engineering projects and maintenance 

  • Oversee risk assessments and permit-to-work 

  • Ensure HSE compliance and company standards 

  • Collaborate with teams for timely project delivery 

Experience and Competencies 

  • HND, or HNC in Engineering or related field 

  • Experience in contractor management and projects 

  • Knowledge of HSE compliance and risk management 

  • Strong organizational and communication skills 

Key Competencies 

  • Problem-solving and decision-making 

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities 

  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills 

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Microsoft Projects), AutoCAD
