RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides strategic direction, including internal and external governance, leadership, program level tracking and monitoring, prioritization, communication, and quality controls. 

• Ability to execute successful project delivery, improve project management practices and substantial team leadership experience with a focus on team development. Will run the CSG solution large programs and Complex programs with third parties and client retained estates with integration needs. 

• Expected to sponsor/create/lead initiatives benefiting the Delivery practice or CSG improvement, as well as mentorship and collaboration with less experienced PMs.  

• Responsible for managing complex programs and projects involving multiple stakeholders, vendors and delivery methods and leads the relationship and strategic management of vendors, client and CSG where SI is mandated as SI, and ensures a robust control and governance framework for delivery.  

Initiates and approves the project documentation, delivery approach, and success criteria, and provides input to the SDR (solution delivery review) for internal program approval.  

• Creates and executes the program approach and planning to deliver against the objectives and targets of client and CSG and coordinates multiple related components and projects. 

• Responsible for project/program budget planning and adherence, provides metrics and reporting to ensure projects are on track, and implements continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery efficiency. 

 • Communicates effectively with the teams and stakeholders, and facilitates senior level discussions and meetings, both internal and external. 

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Expert level understanding and anticipation of the client’s needs, an in-depth understanding of the domain CSG operates and the value of CSG solutions.

  • Expert program management skills and a broad understanding of project methodologies, and broader understanding and perspective of specialized principles and the use of all systems and methods within large or multiple functions.

  • Expert level of analytical problem-solving skills to identify and diagnose problems beyond current boundaries and require highly complex methods or theories.

  • Highly developed team leadership skills with ability to lead large groups.

  • Sophisticated communication skills to direct, influence and gain cooperation with teams and customers.

  • Independent judgment in developing methods for obtaining results

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering (Electrical, Software, Telecommunications) or Business (with major in Computing) or other plus equivalent experience

  • Minimum 10 years IT/Telecommunications industry experience

  • Minimum 5 years program management experience in managing large BSS implementation/software development projects.

  • Experience in consulting environment with significant client contact.

  • Certified in Project Management (e.g. PMP), Service Management (e.g. ITIL) and relevant industry standards (e.g. TMF).

  • Fluency in Arabic advantageos
