Job Summary: The Project Coordinator reports to the Accounting Manager and performs project operations using current technology to maximize the effectiveness and accuracy of existing systems. The individual is required to work on multiple assignments, with overlapping schedules, and needs to be able to multi-task. 

Essential Duties / Responsibilities:

Project Set-Up and Maintenance

- Maintain, track and update project-related records, including contracts, change orders and additional services. Enter the contract particulars into Ajera, including:

  • Project ID and description
  • Contract amount
  • Phases and phase values
  • Billing rate table
  • RLG Project Manager and Principal
  • Department
  • Client Project Manager and Billing information

Accounts Payable:

- Process Vendor and Consultant Invoices

Monthly Client Statement of Accounts:

- Email statements of account to the clients

Corp Ops Support:

- Answer Phones

- Deliveries for Survey

Requirements

- Associate / Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or 3 years of relevant work experience in the field.

- Experience with Deltek Ajera preferred

- Sound judgment to assess situations and recommend solutions

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word & Excel)

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to create clear, concise, and effective documentation

- Attention to detail in reviewing, creating, and maintaining appropriate accounting records

Applicants must be legally authorized to work for RLG Consulting Engineers in the U.S. without employer sponsorship. Currently, RLG Consulting Engineers does not sponsor H1-B or any other work visa petitions.   

Skills Required

  • Associate / Bachelor's Degree in accounting or 3 years of relevant work experience
