Effectively plans, organizes, and executes the overall project management plan of all types of signage ensuring that customer expectations of quality and timeliness are met. Continuously strives to improve the processes and employees associated with project management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Attends all on site construction meetings for customer contract jobs;
Effectively works with corporate for engineering as needed;
Works with pre-sale personnel (value engineering, design, estimating, permitting etc.);
Attends weekly production meetings;
Monitors job costs throughout projects to ensure margins are met;
Pre-qualify site conditions to confirm they are ready for install;
Obtains bids from sub-contractors as needed;
Orders and schedules equipment (cranes, etc.) and subcontractors (stone, footings, etc);
Surveys larger jobs or provides information for surveys;
Orders pipes, plates, rebar;
Confirms that drawings match engineering;
Effectively communicates with sales staff on job status, dates, and any issues;
Provides electrical letters to customers and electrical contractors;
Works collaboratively with other YESCO locations regarding production, installation, revenue shares, and WIPT;
Monitors job cost and confirms all costs have been correctly allocated before closing and invoicing job;
Provides schedule of values and documents required for start of customer contract jobs along with close out paper work including any warranty letters, O& M, letters of guarantee;
Issues POs for specialty contractors, (EIFS, overlays, etc.);
Coordinates revenue shares with other divisions, (National sales, electronics, etc.);
Outlines a schedule from start to finish of jobs based on customer expectations;
Updates and monitors assigned jobs in Netsuite and other related resources;
Orders electronics and works to confirm there are no conflicts between drawings and engineering;
Confirms accuracy of all major invoices from cranes, concrete, etc;
Responsible for all inspections for larger jobs per the special inspection call outs on the engineering (plan dimensions, soil testing, reinforcing steel, concrete testing, weld inspections, finals);
Oversees installation on assigned projects;
Responsible for final walk through with customers and punch list items;
Works with electronics to ensure productive installations for larger LED displays;
Work with electronics and service manager for set up of communication with LED’s;
Responds to field questions from production as needed;
Ensures that YESCO customers receive a high quality product within prescribed time limits;
Effectively resolves customer complaints/issues;
Assists estimating with custom jobs, swing stage, and crane quotes;
Effectively reads and interpret blue prints and engineering;
Effectively creates and manages Gantt charts;
Treats all employees with respect;
Meets or exceeds scheduled delivery dates;
Ensures that all jobs are completed within estimated installation hours and that all jobs meet or exceed YESCO’s quality standards;
Continuously looks for ways to eliminate waste throughout the project management process;
Maintains high standards of job performance;
Provides quality leadership;
Continues to evaluate, implement, and sustain continuous improvement initiatives;
Adheres to and exemplifies the mission and core values of YESCO;
Promotes safety at all times and in all situations;
Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED; or one to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES:
This position requires a current driver license.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as company policies, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports, operating instructions and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Word processing software; MS Excel spreadsheet software; MS Project; YESCO Workbench. Ability to create and manage Gantt charts.
