Catalent's Winchester location is the flagship US manufacturing location for large scale complex controlled release (CR) oral dose forms, with integrated analytical and development services. This site offers newly installed Fluid Beds, expanded analytical labs, and an advanced open facility design that provides flexibility in supporting the requirements of any new customer program.

The Project Coordinator position is an entry-level role within R&D Project Management Department with a focus on one or more functional areas, based on business need: Supply chain, Finance, Quality systems or Business Development

Regular working hours: Monday - Friday; 8:00 AM-4:30 PM or 8:30 AM-5:00 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.

The Role

  • Work with Safety, Warehouse, and the Project Managers to coordinate sample shipments

  • Work with Project Managers on assembling and tracking invoices/billing

  • Review of forecasting and scheduling against quotes

  • Assist with project close outs and review of key documentation

  • Observation of production with clients, report lessons learned

  • Support planning and coordination of R&D analytical activities

  • Preparation of quotes and quote amendments

  • All other duties as assigned.

The Candidate

  • High school diploma with 5+ years relevant industry related experience (OR) Associate’s degree with 4 years of experience (OR) Bachelor’s degree in business, Sciences, Engineering or relevant field preferred, with 2 years of experience is required.

  • Working knowledge of ERP systems required (experience with JDE is preferred)

  • Proficient in MS Office ( Outlook, Word, Excel, MS Project & PowerPoint), advanced user preferred

  • Requires excellent problem-solving, analytical, time management, planning, and multitasking skills, essential for prioritizing workload in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

  • Must be self-driven and highly organized, with strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills for effective team collaboration and daily interactions across multiple departments.

  • Technical writing abilities for report writing, presentations, and meeting documentation are preferred.

  • Familiarity with GMP processes and requirements, along with pharmaceutical industry experience in supply chain, project coordination, and customer service, is preferred.

  • Role requires extended sitting, frequent computer use, and vision for document reading; shifts are 8 or 12 hours with tasks like data entry and computer use.

  • Job involves ergonomic office setup, static postures, occasional standing, and light lifting up to 35 lbs with push/pull capability of 40 lbs.

  • Adherence to safety protocols is mandatory for a secure work environment; office is HVAC controlled for comfort.

  • Trackwise or other similar Quality Management system experience is preferred.
