Project Coordinator

Role Purpose:

Coordinates and manages all aspects of work required to execute customer purchase orders or contracts effectively, efficiently, and in accordance with FLSmidth requirements.

Accountabilities:

• Area of responsibility will include but not be limited to all aspects of project management associated with execution of customer orders/contracts, from acceptance of Sales hand-over, up to final payment received and job close-out.

• Customer satisfaction - Prompt, regular, accurate, timeous, and professional reporting to customers.

• Quality "FLSmidth minimum quality requirements and awareness of requirements relating to QCP's, inspection reports, data books.

• Quality of work - adhere to requirements of SOP's"

• On-Time completion (DIFOT) - ensure work is executed within contractual period.

• Manage all costs to meet or improve margin.

• Managing Cash-flow - Timeous billing, expedite payments, neutral cash-flow as a minimum.

• Productivity/growth - collaboration with all entities to improve FLSmidth efficiency/productivity and promote FLS offerings to customers through job execution.

Requirements, Skills and abilities:

• Grade 12

• Relevant Technical Tertiary and Project Management qualification will be advantageous.

• Knowledge of the FLSmidth products and technical solutions.

• Previous experience with FLSmidth project management will be an advantage. • Computer Literate (MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook)
