THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are seeking a detail-oriented multi-tasker to join our team as a full-time Sprinkler Projects Coordinator! Working directly with the Sprinkler Divisions Operations Manager and Project Manager you will support the day-to-day operations of the Sprinkler Division by completing a variety of administrative tasks. The successful candidate for this role will have the opportunity to progress their career into Project Management.

Objectives & Responsibilities of the Coordinator, Sprinkler Projects:

· Track status and log Project Deliverables for consultant approval. Ensuring that all required information is included and directing any compliance issues to the appropriate parties.

· Record and distribute meeting minutes as required.

· Assist with project scheduling and logistics as required.

· Gather Site Instructions, Variation Requests, Change Directives and Field Changes and forward to the Project Manager.

· Assist the Project Manager in the preparation and maintenance of Change Order Logs, Risks/Issues Logs, Project Construction Schedules, Cost & Resource Loaded Schedules, and Vendor Progress Claims.

· Assist Site Superintendent with onsite activities with respect to Security, Safety, Site Access, and Site inspection.

· Adhere to and promote the companies core values, processes, policies and Occupational Health and Safety protocols.

· Provide additional Operations Support, as required.

· Additional coordination and administrative duties as they may arise.

The ideal candidate would have the following attributes, strengths, and experience:

· Previous experience in a similar role.

· Previous Project Management experience or education is considered an asset.

· Excellent customer service skills.

· Resourceful nature and ability to think critically with a customer centric focus to problem solving and task prioritization.

· Computer literate; confident utilizing various software systems.

· Strong attention to detail, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.

· Experience in or general/technical knowledge of the Fire Prevention Industry is considered an asset.

· Excellent time management and task prioritization skills; ability to manage various high priority tasks while planning for and meeting deadlines as needed.

PLEASE NOTE: Open to internal and external candidates. Local candidates only. Hours of work are 8:00am – 4:30pm Monday though Friday.
