About the Team

Core Modernisation (CoreMod) is a major enterprise transformation program that will modernise the Bank's core business capabilities, processes and technology platforms. Bringing together specialists from across the organisation, the program is focused on delivering sustainable improvements that will support the Bank's operations well into the future.

As a Project Coordinator within CoreMod, you will be part of a collaborative delivery team supporting a range of initiatives across the program. Reporting to a Project Manager or Delivery Lead, you will work closely with program stakeholders, subject matter experts, business representatives and delivery partners to coordinate activities and support successful project outcomes.

About the Role

As a Project Coordinator, you will provide essential project coordination and delivery support across the CoreMod program. Working in a fast-paced and complex environment, you will help ensure project activities are effectively planned, monitored and delivered in line with agreed objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting project planning, scheduling and coordination activities

  • Maintaining project documentation, governance artefacts and reporting requirements

  • Monitoring project progress and escalating risks, issues and dependencies as required

  • Coordinating meetings, workshops and stakeholder engagement activities

  • Assisting with project communications and change activities

  • Supporting financial tracking, resource coordination and project administration activities

  • Contributing to continuous improvement and the effective application of project management practices across the program

About You

You are organised, proactive and enjoy bringing structure to complex pieces of work. You build positive relationships with stakeholders and are comfortable working across multiple priorities in a dynamic project environment.

You will bring:

  • Experience supporting project delivery, program coordination or business change initiatives

  • Strong planning and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience coordinating activities across multiple stakeholders and teams

  • The ability to identify and monitor risks, issues and project dependencies

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to delivery

  • Familiarity with project management methodologies, governance frameworks and reporting practices

  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry experience

  • PRINCE2 Foundation certification (desirable)
