Job Summary:

We are seeking an organized and proactive Project Coordinator / SCRUM Master to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in coordinating projects, facilitating SCRUM ceremonies, and working in Agile environments. This role will focus on ensuring the successful delivery of projects by managing timelines, facilitating communication, and removing impediments. The Project Coordinator / SCRUM Master will work closely with cross-functional teams to foster collaboration and support the overall project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of project timelines, deliverables, and milestones.
  • Coordinate meetings, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and project needs are met on time.
  • Maintain project documentation, including schedules, progress reports, and meeting notes.
  • Track project progress and escalate issues to senior management when necessary.
  • Ensure resources and tools are available and ready for project team members.
  • Coordinate between different teams (e.g., technical, business, and stakeholders) to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Prepare and deliver project status updates to key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.

SCRUM Master Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Act as a servant leader to the SCRUM team, helping to remove blockers and ensure the team’s focus on delivering high-quality work.
  • Support the Product Owner in managing the product backlog and ensuring it is well-groomed and prioritized.
  • Track team progress using Agile metrics (e.g., burndown charts, velocity) to ensure efficient delivery of the sprint.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team collaboration, self-organization, and adherence to Agile principles.
  • Provide guidance on Agile methodologies and best practices to team members and stakeholders.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project coordination or Agile project management roles.
  • Experience working in SCRUM and Agile environments; familiarity with SCRUM frameworks and Agile methodologies is required.
  • Previous experience in coordinating cross-functional teams and managing project timelines.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Confluence) and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Smartsheet).
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and drive discussions to make decisions and solve problems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remove roadblocks for the team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, processes, and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with distributed teams.
  • Knowledge of other project management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Kanban) is a plus.
