Under the direction of the Program Manager or Department Leadership, a Project Coordinator functions as the main department contact for both internal and external inquiries. They operate as the lead for scheduled and ad hoc projects, coordinate and oversee efforts on department projects.
Creates and manages the administrative processes for programs using standard performance measurements and continuous quality improvement principles.
Supports program projects across components/modules, using appropriate project management tools/processes.
Collaborates with local, regional and national stakeholders, including partner institutions, to advance program or project goals, as directed.
Develop processes/systems to accommodate cross-fertilization and integration of activities.
Oversees appropriate communication across project teams, ensuring cross-fertilization and integration.
Develop tools to track/monitor/track activities/projects towards internal consistency, efficiency, and accomplishment.
Develop reports and presentations as required
Foster a sense of teamwork, cooperation, and community within and amongst MCW entities. Train and onboard new team members within the division.

Minimum Required Education: Bachelor’s degree
Minimum Required Experience: 3 years
Preferred Experience: Project management experience
Work requires occasionally lifting moderate weight materials, standing, or walking continuously.
Occasional exposure to dust, noise, temperature changes, or contact with water or other liquids. Work is performed in an environmentally controlled environment.
Ability to detect and translate speech or other communication required. May occasionally require the ability to distinguish colors and perceive relative distances between objects.
