We are looking for a Project Coordinator, Optimization with an Engineering background to join our team in either Calgary, Edmonton or Houston.

The project coordinator provides key tactical services by supporting the Project Manager with functional, administrative, and organizational tasks. The nature of the projects is internal process improvement.

What you Will Do:

• Gather and consolidate weekly updates to support accurate progress reporting
• Ensure implementation plans are regularly updated and reflect current project status
• Supervise progress against established timelines and milestones, identifying any delays or risks.
• Identify and escalate impediments to progress, ensuring timely resolutions.
• Maintain and manage action logs, tracking follow-ups and accountabilities
• Oversee and update the SharePoint site, ensuring relevant documentation is organized and accessible.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to support data-driven decision-making and transparency.
• Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings and keep/distribute meeting minutes.
• Organize, attend, and participate in stakeholder meetings.
• Undertake various project tasks as directed by Project Manager.
• Assist PM in facilitating continuous improvement / cost savings workshops
• Support process improvement change initiatives
• Assist working teams in roll-out of new processes
• Assist in identifying and developing continuous improvement opportunities

Who You Are:

• Bachelor’s Engineering degree or related field
• 4+ years experience in engineering design, projects, construction management
• PMP or equivalent certification in Project Management
• Proven leadership and coordination abilities, with experience guiding and managing cross=-functional teams.
• Proficient in Power BI, with the ability to create insightful and actionable reports and dashboards
• Collaboration skills, capable of taking direction and working effectively with a variety of stakeholders across departments.
• Highly organized and dependable, able to manage large workloads while maintaining attention to detail.
• Demonstrates a high level of professionalism and integrity in all aspects of work.
• Ability to travel domestically and within North America.
