Position Summary: Samyang America is seeking a motivated and detailed-oriented individual to join our growing team as a Project Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management and Go-to-Market Execution
Build timelines, milestones, and dependencies across product workstreams
Assist in leading cross functional collaboration meetings across marketing, sales, procurement, finance, R&D, regulatory, legal, supply chain, and global HQ teams
Surface risks early and drive resolution before they become problems
Maintain a single trusted view of project status, priorities, and decisions
Ensure documentation, decisions, and next steps are captured and accessible
Follow up on commitments and ensure nothing drops between teams
Product lifecycle management including the product specs & design
Successful item management through SAP
Leads SAP activity for product and brand team
Support internal memorandum process for budget approvals
Process Improvements and Leadership Support
Ensure weekly, monthly leadership reports are completed by teams
Provide clear, concise updates to leadership on progress, risks, and tradeoffs
Manage team controllable budget
Lead product samples, procurement, and preparation (internal and competitive)
Drive process improvements to improve team efficiency
Help leadership stay focused on decisions rather than chasing execution
Act as an early warning system when scope, timelines, or resources are misaligned
Requirements:
1-2 years in project management, program management, operations, or similar roles
Comfort operating in fact paced, ambiguous environments
Strong systems thinker - can hold many threads at once
Clear communicator who can work across technical and non-technical partners
Highly organized, diligent, and relentless about follow-through
Able to drive momentum without formal authority
Strong experience with Microsoft Excel
Some experience with project management software is preferred but not required
The base salary for this position is between $24 and $33 per hour. Actual compensation will depend on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience, and location. This position may also be eligible for additional compensation and benefits, including an annual incentive bonus, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, PTO/FTO, and a 401(k) plan with company match.

What We Do
Samyang America Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of Samyang Foods Korea, was established in Los Angeles at the end of August 2021 and is responsible for the sales of all Samyang Food products in the United States. Samyang Foods Korea manufactured 'Samyang Ramen' in 1963, the Korea's first ramen, paving the way for making ramen the soul food of all Koreans. We, Samyang Foods Korea, have the history of establishing a US factory in 1984 which was the first one approved by the US FDA, and have been developing into a global ramen and food company with the release of the Buldak series. Samyang America will be taking the lead in spreading Korean food & Korean culture throughout the Americas beyond the US.
