JOB SUMMARY: The Project Coordinator is a detail-oriented and highly organized professional seeking to advance a long-term consulting career. With a strong foundation in technical expertise and exceptional written communication skills, this individual will contribute effectively to various consulting and grant-supported projects. The Project Coordinator will assist with project tracking, documentation management, data organization, permit and grant compliance, coordination of technical teams, and support of client and producer needs. This role requires strong collaboration, attention to detail, and effective communication to provide a high level of support to internal teams and external stakeholders.

  • Review daily inspection, survey, and project documentation from field personnel and technical specialists.

  • Assist in the collection, verification, and organization of project and grant-related documentation, including supporting evidence, data records, and compliance materials.

  • Synthesize and communicate permit stipulations, grant requirements, and project-specific obligations.

  • Track and organize permit and grant processes and maintain status reporting.

  • Compile, maintain, and organize project documentation, ensuring files are accurately stored and easily accessible within designated systems.

  • Assist in coordinating with subject matter experts across disciplines to ensure high-quality analysis, adherence to schedules and budgets, and compliance with project requirements.

  • Manage action item trackers and support project workflow management.

  • Assist in scoping tasks required to complete projects and meet client needs.

  • Coordinate project activities, including scheduling, field surveys, investigations, producer interactions, and subcontractor support.

  • Manage, evaluate, interpret, enter, and maintain project-related data and records.

  • Maintain accurate records of project activities, data, documentation, and compliance requirements.

  • Support technical teams with documentation preparation, reporting requirements, and administrative project needs.

  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings.

  • Support, actively participate, and act in accordance with Wright’s and Eocene Environmental Group’s culture of safety and employee ownership.

  • Comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, company policies, and procedures.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Agronomy, Environmental Studies, Natural Resource Management, Biology, or a related field.

  • Three (3) or more years of relevant professional experience in project coordination, consulting, agriculture, natural resources, sustainability, grants management, or a related field.

  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Ability to perform work independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite and related business software.

  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced, and evolving work environment.

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and interact with employees, clients, producers, agencies, and vendors.

  • Ability to travel periodically as required by project needs.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience supporting USDA, NRCS, federal, state, or other grant-funded programs.

  • Knowledge of grant compliance requirements, documentation standards, and reporting processes.

  • Experience collecting, organizing, validating, and managing technical, environmental, agricultural, or project-related data.

  • Familiarity with precision agriculture platforms, environmental databases, GIS applications, or other technical data management systems.

  • Technical report writing and document preparation experience.

  • Experience coordinating with regulatory agencies, clients, producers, contractors, or other external stakeholders.

  • Ability to work successfully across multiple projects in a fast-paced consulting environment.

  • Familiarity with agricultural, environmental, sustainability, conservation, utility, or natural resource management practices.
