About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Controls Scheduler to join our electrical contracting team at an active construction site. In this critical role, you'll be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules to ensure successful project delivery on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using industry-standard scheduling software
• Analyze and report on critical paths, schedule variances, and project milestones
• Track project progress and update schedules based on field conditions and changes
• Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to ensure accurate schedule information
• Conduct schedule analysis and provide recommendations for recovery plans when delays occur
• Generate regular schedule reports and presentations for stakeholders
• Identify schedule risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Coordinate schedule integration with general contractors and other trades
• Perform "what-if" scenarios and analyze the impacts of potential changes
• Maintain schedule baselines and document all schedule revisions
• Support project planning and resource allocation efforts
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
· 3+ years of experience in project scheduling, preferably in construction or electrical contracting
· Procore experience required
· Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project
· Strong understanding of the critical path method (CPM) scheduling
· Experience with construction sequencing, means, and methods
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
· Strong communication skills with the ability to present schedule information to various stakeholders
· Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
· PSP (Planning and Scheduling Professional) certification
· Experience with additional construction management software platforms
· Knowledge of electrical construction processes and workflows
· Lean construction or pull planning experience
Skills Required
