The Role
Position Summary
PMA is currently seeking a scheduler for an exclusive assignment on-site at a client’s facility in Holland, MI. In this role, you will be involved in every facet of scheduling and schedule control for a large construction project. Duties will include schedule preparation, schedule updating, and cost forecasting. The scheduler will be required to frequently walk the site to assess project progress. The project schedule will be quite detailed and will be cost and resource-loaded.
Position Qualifications
- Must have a Bachelor’s in engineering, construction management, or related field.
- 5-10 years of related experience is required.
- Hands-on scheduling experience with Oracle Primavera P6 is required.
- Experience on large construction projects is strongly preferred.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills required.
- Demonstrated capability with applicable software programs required.
- Applicable professional certifications are preferred.
Additional Requirements
Physical: Standing or sitting for long periods; must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times and spend extended hours in front of a computer screen.
Cognitive: Problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills; computer and software skills; and ability to read and interpret text online or in printed form.
