Ameresco has a new opportunity for a Project Controls Scheduler to join Ameresco’s Federal Solutions Team supporting projects throughout the United States. This position is based in Knoxville, TN, yet we may consider a remote work assignment.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain critical path logic networks and bar charts.
Resource and cost loads schedules when required.
Provide monthly schedule updates for all projects.
Report status of schedule to project staff and company management.
Provide project controls expertise and management of project controls processes.
Prepares progress reports on project status, both costs and schedule.
Assist with internal cost reporting and forecasting.
Assist in reviewing and preparing change orders, maintain change order logs.
Assist in the subcontractor bidding process.
Ensure compliance with company, industry, trade, regulatory and jurisdictional safety standards, practices, codes.
Cultivate and maintain positive business relationships.
Perform other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 5 years’ experience in scheduling and cost controls.
Ability to review confidential US security information.
Additional Qualifications:
Completion or progress toward engineering, technical, or industry-related education preferred.
Experience with Primavera P6 scheduling for general construction projects and understands construction sequencing and logic preferred.
Government construction experience preferred.
Renewable Energy construction scheduling experience preferred.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and complete assignments
Excellent organization skills including ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
Excellent verbal, written, computer communication and technical presentation skills.
Valid Driver’s License in good standing, issued by resident state required.
May require flexibility for ‘on call’ support or varied schedule needs.
