Your Next Career Opportunity – Project Controls Manager
Responsible for managing work in progress report, overseeing job budgets/costs, accounting documentation and acting as point of interface with customers, subcontractors and field personnel. Oversee and manage assigned construction activities of telecommunication sites for commercial deployment of services according to project schedules & budgets. Acquiring resources and assisting in coordinating the efforts of team members & third party vendors to provide quality construction services that exceed our customer's standards of performance.
What You Will Do – Primary Responsibilities

  • ​Overall review and management of Work In Process report (WIP) to provide accurate revenue and profit recognition.
  • Monitor and Confirm forecasts and job costs for accuracy using applicable reports.
  • Monitor actual revenue/margin against projections.
  • Assist with approval and set-up of new vendors/subcontractors.
  • Monitor territory direct and indirect costs.
  • Assist with budget and profitability projections.
  • Monthly Billings and Receiving as required by client/project.
  • Prepare/approve purchase orders for subcontractors/vendors.
  • Prepare, submit and track client change orders.
  • Forecasting and tracking job status.
  • Procure bonds (i.e. performance, payment, bid etc.) and certificates of insurance.
  • Individual job management (forecast adjustments/true-ups) and buy-out process.
  • Assist in review and submittal of weekly payroll for territory/project personnel.
  • Work with field personnel on close-out documents as required by clients.
  • Other projects and duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Work with Talent Acquisition to recruit, interview, select, hire, and employ a talented and diverse group of high performing team members.
  • Provide oversight and direction to team members in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.
  • Coach, mentor and develop team members, including overseeing new team member onboarding and providing career development planning and growth opportunities.
  • Empower team members to take ownership of their job and goals. Delegate responsibilities as needed and provide routine constructive feedback on performance.
  • Create a culture that is consistent with the organization's focus on team member engagement and that aligns with the organization's mission, vision and values.
  • Lead team members using a performance management and development focused approach to assist in goal setting, two-way feedback, and performance development planning.
  • Lead team members to meet the organization's expectations for productivity, quality, and goal accomplishment.

What You’ll Need – Qualifications & Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in related field of study;
      • and 3-5 years experience in construction/ wireless industry with experience working with various database systems. Project management experience a plus.
    • Domestic Travel
    • Valid Government Issued Driver's License
