What a day in this role will look like

• Supporting projects with strong financial controls and partnering with Project Managers.

• Monitoring project finances and spotting risks and opportunities early.

• Coordinating procedures for recording, forecasting, and reporting all project financials.

• Reviewing project health to identify financial risks and ensure follow-up actions.

• Providing insights to improve project and business profitability and cash performance.

What are we looking for from you?

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Cost Engineering with 2+ years’ cost control experience in engineering consulting, ideally on major water infrastructure projects.

• Strong understanding of accounting concepts, P&L, cash performance, and project financial management.

• Experience coordinating monthly progress claims, reporting, and managing multiple projects concurrently.

• Attention to detail in expense review, receipt validation, and reconciliations across currencies and systems.

• Proficient in project accounting/Cost Control software (Oracle, Workbench, UniPhi, PowerBI) and Excel, with excellent communication skills.
