Project Portfolio Monitoring and Reporting
  • Develop and standardize reporting templates covering project progress, costs, risks, key issues, and matters requiring management attention.
  • Establish and maintain consolidated dashboards providing visibility into the overall status of the Group’s project portfolio.
  • Classify projects based on their current status, including on track, requiring monitoring, delayed, or involving critical issues requiring management intervention.
  • Develop a regular and consistent information-sharing mechanism between the Group, project management teams, and project entities.
  • Continuously improve project reporting processes, dashboards, risk indicators, and portfolio control mechanisms.
Progress Monitoring and Risk Management
  • Receive and consolidate periodic reports from the designated focal point of each project.
  • Monitor key project milestones against approved plans, schedules, budgets, and investment objectives.
  • Compare actual progress with approved schedules and identify delays, root causes, dependencies, and potential impacts.
  • Provide early warnings regarding risks related to schedule, cost, legal and regulatory matters, contracts, technical issues, equipment, contractors, and project implementation.
  • Prioritize detailed analysis of projects experiencing significant delays, cost overruns, high-risk issues, or matters requiring senior management decisions.
Review of Project Reports and Proposals
  • Review the completeness, consistency, and logical basis of project reports before consolidation and submission to senior management.
  • Assess major proposals involving schedule adjustments, cost changes, contracts, contractors, design modifications, technology, equipment, and other significant project matters.
  • Request additional information, supporting documents, or clarification from project management teams and project entities when reports or proposals lack sufficient justification.
  • Provide independent assessments of the risks, impacts, and reasonableness of project proposals before they are submitted to the Chairman/Chief Executive Officer.
  • Identify unusual information, inconsistencies, or potential concerns within project reports and escalate them appropriately.
Executive Advisory Support
  • Prepare periodic consolidated reports on the performance and status of the Group’s project portfolio.
  • Summarize critical issues, decisions requiring approval, and matters requiring management direction.
  • Recommend potential solutions, decision options, and key questions that should be clarified before management approval.
  • Provide independent project control insights and recommendations to support executive decision-making.
  • Monitor and follow up on the implementation of instructions and decisions issued by the Chairman/Chief Executive Officer in relation to projects.
Stakeholder Coordination
  • Work closely with designated project focal points to collect, review, clarify, and update project information.
  • Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Accounting, Technical, Procurement, Construction, and other relevant functions to assess project-related issues when necessary.
  • Participate in project meetings as assigned by senior management.
  • Document meeting conclusions, monitor agreed action items, and report on implementation progress.
  • Maintain effective communication and professional working relationships with internal departments, project management teams, project entities, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
