Job Description- Perform project control activities for Deloitte’s largest projects (monthly)
- Prepare performance and risk analyses of the largest projects and clients (monthly)
- Conduct periodic reviews of project management for smaller projects (based on sampling)
- Prepare quality and risk analyses of other projects (periodically, based on the performed sampling)
- Analyse and report on key client performance
- Execute ad hoc projects to improve our project controls
- Optimise the control framework and contribute to improving existing processes
- Provide input during the annual audit
You have strong analytical skills and can translate relevant procedures and guidelines into concrete actions for stakeholders. You are critical and decisive regarding presented information and provide an appropriate response if information is insufficient or if certain procedures are not being followed. You are also communicative and able to strike the right balance between a critical attitude and working with the team to find solutions. In addition, for this Project Controller role you have:
- A completed HBO (higher professional education) qualification in accountancy, business economics or a related field.
- or you are in the final phase of a WO (university) degree in a relevant discipline
- An excellent command of English, both written and spoken
- Preferably 1–2 years’ work experience as an (assistant) accountant or (assistant) controller at an accounting or administration firm, or within a project organization.
As Project Controller you play a key role in ensuring our project administration is under control and that our revenue is recognised in accordance with IFRS guidelines. You will also ensure internal guidelines relating to working capital are followed. For our large client projects you will act as the financial sparring partner for the project team on accounting and reporting matters.
Salary range: EUR 44–58K per year, all‑in (including holiday allowance, profit sharing and other additional benefits), based on a 40‑hour week.
