Project Coordinator
General Description: Dentsu Global Services and Merkle are a part of Dentsu. DGS operates as a GCC in India and Merkle is a global performance digital experience agency with a 32-year track record of helping the best brands in the world create personalized experiences at every stage of the customer life cycle. Some of their esteemed brand relationships include Citibank, EmblemHealth, Dell, AARP, AT&T, Target, L’Oréal, Universal Orlando Resorts and the American Cancer Society.
This is a hybrid role. Governance and administrative responsibilities will be managed by a DGS Manager based in India. Candidate will report to the Program Director in the US and be part of the Delivery Management team. The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 1:30 PM to 9:30 PM IST.
Job Description:
- The candidate will own project administration for a defined set of accounts.
- In partnership with Finance and Resource Management, the candidate will support the project set-up process in Merkle’s internal systems.
- The candidate will maintain accurate project data throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring information reflects contracts and engagement changes.
- The candidate will monitor and report on overall project health.
- The candidate will complete project closure activities in a timely and organized manner.
- The candidate may also support other reasonable business needs as requested by leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required. Computer Science degree is preferred but not a prerequisite.
- 0-3 years of experience in a digital or related professional environment.
- This role is well suited for a recent graduate or young professional seeking to build a career in a new industry. Prior professional experience / experience in the IT industry is not a prerequisite, and the position is designed to provide a strong entry point with training and development over time.
- Confident, with Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, along with effective time management.
- Strong feedback and stakeholder reporting ability with complete ownership.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel (required), Word, PowerPoint, and Teams. Ability to understand basic IT tools for everyday use.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Comfortable working independently while remaining collaborative and open to guidance.
- Ability to work diligently with focus and resolve to ensure timeliness and quality in executing work.
