We make health happen

At Bupa, our purpose is simple: we help people live longer, healthier, happier lives — and make a better world.

We’re now looking for a Project & Change Manager to support the delivery of important change across Cromwell Hospital. This is a great opportunity for a capable project professional who enjoys working end‑to‑end across the full delivery lifecycle.

You’ll play a key role in helping us improve how we work and how we care for our patients, while developing your own skills across project management, change delivery and stakeholder engagement.

How you’ll help us make health happen:

  • Deliver technology and operational change projects, ensuring clear plans, timelines and scope.

  • Support project initiation, requirements gathering and documentation.

  • Manage day‑to‑day project activity, risks and issues, escalating where needed.

  • Work closely with clinical, operational, and IT teams to support smooth delivery and adoption.

  • Produce clear, accurate reporting and project updates.

  • Coordinate third‑party suppliers and internal partners where required.

  • Build positive relationships with stakeholders across the hospital.

  • Support change management activity, including comms, training planning and engagement.

  • Work flexibly with both Agile and Waterfall approaches, depending on project needs.

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role

  • Experience delivering IT or operational change projects, ideally within a healthcare environment.

  • Confidence working in Agile, multidisciplinary teams.

  • Strong communication skills — clear, warm and human.

  • Great stakeholder management, with the ability to build trust and adapt your style.

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Working knowledge of project tools (Microsoft Project, Jira, DevOps, Planner etc.).

  • Certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, Scrum Master or Change Management are desirable but not essential.

Benefits

Our benefits are designed to make health happen for our people. Viva is our global wellbeing programme and includes all aspects of our health – from mental and physical, to financial, social and environmental wellbeing. We support flexible working and have a range of family friendly benefits.

Joining Bupa in this role you will receive the following benefits and more:

• 25 days holiday, increasing through length of service, with option to buy or sell

• Bupa health insurance as a benefit in kind

• An enhanced pension plan and life insurance

• Onsite gyms or local discounts where no onsite gym available

• Various other benefits and online discounts
