Job Description

About the Role

The Associate Director, Project & Change Management Lead provides integrated project management and organizational change leadership across Procurement Center of Excellence (PCOE) initiatives and cross-functional transformation programs. This role is responsible for translating strategic priorities into executable plans and measurable outcomes by establishing delivery discipline, coordinating stakeholders and dependencies, managing risks, and ensuring effective governance.

As a trusted partner to initiative sponsors, project teams, regions, functions, and end users, you will lead change management efforts that drive engagement, adoption, and long-term success. You will also measure implementation effectiveness, benefit realization, user satisfaction, and business outcomes, using insights and feedback to continuously improve both solutions and the overall PCOE experience.

How You Will Contribute
  • Lead the planning and execution of PCOE initiatives and cross-functional programs, defining scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, governance structures, resource requirements, dependencies, and success measures.
  • Translate strategic priorities into structured delivery plans that achieve agreed business outcomes and measurable benefits.
  • Establish and maintain integrated project plans, risk registers, issue logs, action trackers, decision logs, and portfolio reporting frameworks.
  • Identify delivery risks and challenges proactively, driving mitigation plans, escalation strategies, and timely resolution of issues.
  • Coordinate sponsors, workstream leaders, regional and functional stakeholders, subject matter experts, and external partners to ensure alignment, accountability, and successful execution.
  • Prepare executive-ready presentations, status reports, business updates, and decision materials that clearly communicate progress, risks, resource requirements, interdependencies, and recommended actions.
  • Design and implement fit-for-purpose organizational change strategies that are fully integrated into project delivery and transformation activities.
  • Conduct stakeholder analysis, change impact assessments, and organizational readiness evaluations to identify affected audiences, key influencers, capability gaps, and adoption risks.
  • Develop and execute targeted communication and engagement plans for different stakeholder groups, including leadership communications, workshops, roadshows, town halls, digital content, and feedback channels.
  • Define learning and enablement requirements and coordinate training programs, support materials, change champion networks, and local adoption activities.
  • Build sustainable adoption strategies that reinforce desired behaviors and ensure long-term realization of program objectives.
  • Establish and monitor adoption, behavior change, user experience, and benefit realization metrics, using data and feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Implement mechanisms to measure and enhance user satisfaction, including surveys, stakeholder feedback loops, and experience assessments.
  • Translate user feedback and adoption insights into prioritized recommendations for improving processes, services, and solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement by evaluating delivery effectiveness and identifying opportunities to strengthen project and change management practices.
  • Coach and support PCOE colleagues, initiative leaders, and project teams in applying effective project management and organizational change methodologies.
  • Contribute to the development of a consistent project and change management capability across Procurement Center of Excellence programs and initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in project management, program management, and organizational change leadership within global and complex organizations.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale cross-functional transformation programs and strategic initiatives from planning through implementation and adoption.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy into executable plans and deliver measurable outcomes through disciplined project execution.
  • Strong expertise in project planning, governance, risk management, issue resolution, resource management, stakeholder alignment, and benefits realization.
  • Practical experience applying established project and change management methodologies and tailoring approaches to different organizational contexts and stakeholder groups.
  • Strong experience in stakeholder analysis, change impact assessments, organizational readiness, communications, training, engagement, resistance management, and sustainment planning.
  • Demonstrated success measuring adoption, behavior change, user satisfaction, and business results to improve implementation effectiveness.

  • Strong facilitation, relationship-building, and influencing skills, including the ability to gain alignment and drive outcomes across global matrix organizations without direct authority.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to balance structured delivery discipline with flexibility and pragmatism.
  • Experience supporting digital transformation, process improvement, operating model changes, or enterprise-wide business transformation initiatives.
