THE HIGH LEVEL
Iron Bow is looking for a Project Assistant to support the refresh team coordinating PC Refresh activities and other project tasks in support for the Virginia Information Technology Agency (VITA) initiative.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Maintain and monitor refresh / project plans and schedules
- Ensure refresh / project deadlines and SLAs are met
- Participate in daily PCR Team refresh meetings
- Document and follow-up on important actions and decisions from meetings
- Assist in developing PC Refresh strategies and standard set of tasks that can be used by the PC Refresh Team
- Ensure all refresh/project documentation is maintained appropriately
- Additional tasks as required
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- You have an Associate's degree + 1-2 years' experience as a Project Assistant; experience can be substituted for education
- You’ve been responsible managing large scale orders and corresponding communications
- You’ve spent your career managing smaller projects with 1-2 stakeholders
- Adhering to regulations and performance obligations within contractual agreements is just another day on the job for you.
- You possess strong executive presence, polish, communication skills and emotional intelligence. (Ability to host and conduct meetings.)
- People naturally gravitate to you and want to work for you. Leadership is your middle name.
- You have vast experience applying proper program management principles and practices.
- You have prior experience of managing multiple deadlines
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- You have demonstrated the ability to utilize Google map
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
- Up to 25% travel may be required for this role.
