ERG is seeking a Project Assistant to join our team. This role will work closely with program managers, technical staff, and government clients to ensure seamless operations. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, detail-oriented, and adept at multitasking in a dynamic environment. This is a hybrid position based at ERG’s Indian Head, Maryland office, with a combination of onsite and remote work.

Job Description:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement/contract needs and requirements
  • Monitor and track invoices to ensure accuracy and timely payment
  • Maintain reports and dashboards
  • Prepare weekly financial reports and monthly invoices
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
  • Maintain organized contract files and tracking spreadsheets
  • Develop and maintain project planning tools, including action item tracking spreadsheets, project calendars, and flow charts
  • Support data entry tasks

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 (college transcripts required for applicants with less than 4 years of experience)
  • 0 to 10 years of experience
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, excellent communications skills (both written and verbal), meticulous attention to detail, highly motivated, and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Willingness and ability to learn new software and technical skills required for planning, report preparation, and financial reporting
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel and fundamental data management concepts
  • Experience with MS Power Platforms a plus
  • Must currently hold or be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret-level security clearance
  • Must be a U.S. citizen as this position is not eligible for Limited Access Authorizations
