Ultradent, a global name in oral health, is looking for a Product Development & Sustainment (PD&S) Project Assistant, to play a crucial role in supporting the PD&S management team.  This role involves various tasks, including administrative duties, reporting, event planning, and assisting with projects and change management. This is an onsite role working in South Jordan UT reporting to the Senior Director of the Department.


Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Schedules meetings for departmental staff, reserves conference rooms, makes travel arrangements, and completes expense reports.
  • Participate in and contribute to special projects as directed by managers.
  • Receive and respond to senior management correspondence and maintain departmental records.
  • Provide departmental reception services, directing visitors and/or calls.
  • Procure the necessary materials for testing and/or evaluation. 

 
Reporting Responsibilities:

  • Prepare complex or confidential reports and presentations.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of department and project metrics.
  • Research and collaborate with the other areas of the business to align information and reporting needs.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the company’s business and strategic goals to identify proper reporting opportunities. 

 
Project Management Responsibilities:

  • Provide general support to project teams, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and managing project documentation.
  • Assist with coordinating project activities and communicating with project teams.
  • Maintain project databases, management tools and processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.

 

What We’re Looking For In You:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
  • 4+ year experience in an administrative, life science (medical device preferred), project management or project support role is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficiency in Smartsheet, Oracle and Agile a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality, accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Proactive and able to take initiative to resolve issues.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
