CHILD SAFEGUARDING:

Level 3: the post holder will have contact with children and/or young people either frequently (e.g. once a week or more) or intensively (e.g. four days in one month or more or overnight) because they work country programs; or are visiting country programs; or because they are responsible for implementing the police checking/vetting process staff.

 

ROLE PURPOSE:

This post is to ensure smooth implementation of all project activities in collaboration with other departments. The post holder will be responsible for integrated operation processes. The core duties of this post include but not limited to; administrative medical tasks, procurement and financial operations through close coordination with the project team, supportive departments, and relative stakeholders including the governmental officials and targeted community.

 

SCOPE OF ROLE:

· Direct Reporting Line: Project Manager

· Staff reporting to this post :NA

 

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY :

· Ensure that activities are implemented in accordance to the work plan and in timely manner and in line to project budget and with project manager guidance

· Lead and oversee all the preparation of the project events and gatherings including schedule, materials, logistics and any other related tasks.

· Participate in the development of all project plans including programmatic and procurement activities according to project proposal and logical frame work.

· Prepare payments, advances and the settlement of open advances.

· Keeping track of project expenses sheet and project financial documents and monitoring cash flow.

· Assist the project lead in developing and monitoring the project offline trackers.

· Prepare and follow up on all the procurement requests and goods’ delivery

· Support in coordinating meetings with stakeholders

· Establish and maintain updated trackers for the project financial activities

· Maintain a coherent documentation system for all project documents (hard and soft copies).

· Participate in data collection and entry when requested by line manager

· Ensure SCI policies and procedures are being adhered to improve program operational efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree of Business Administration or equivalent.

· Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative/project implementation with strong experience in logistic work.

· Familiarity/experience in international development, previous work in health projects is a plus.

· Proven knowledge and skills in project planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation is desirable

· Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel and PowerPoint Excellent writing and presentation skills.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or an equivalent field
  • At least 2 years of experience in administration or project implementation
  • Strong experience in logistics
  • Familiarity or experience in international development
  • Previous experience working on health projects
  • Knowledge and skills in project planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills
