This team sits in Medical Records Retrieval Operations as a support function working with Project Managers and other Internal & External Stakeholders. Internal include Project Managers, other Operation's teams and external being health plans / our clients.
The Project Analytics Specialist serves in a key role as an operational and business analytics expert for the Medical Records Retrieval and Medical Chart Coding businesses. The role functions as a link between internal and external customers or clients, client services, and our operations teams. The role collaborates closely with key stakeholders to support the successful delivery of retrieval and chart coding projects by providing expert guidance, insights, and analysis on forecasts, forecast variances, forecast adjustments, chase grouping analysis, and project key performance indicators (KPI).
You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Actively builds and maintains solid partnership and collaboration across the organization
- Responsible for collaborating with key stakeholders to drive successful delivery of project KPIs and client expectations
- Serve as a consultant, providing recommendations to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness to improve project outcomes
- Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert for production and operational forecasts and revisions
- Understands the business model of each operation, clients, and projects to deliver customized solutions and support
- Collaborate with account managers, project managers, and other key stakeholders assess project health and identify opportunities to improve project outcomes
- Participate in client meetings to support account managers and project managers with expert insight and analysis on forecasts/projections, variances, and project health/KPIs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help develop, deploy, and maintain business intelligence tools and automated reporting
- Provide ad hoc reports, analysis, and project related requests
- Conduct and deliver thorough audits, validation, and analysis of project data mapping, pre and post chase grouping, and case reviews
- Timely, accurate, and thorough resolution of tasks assigned from ticketing systems
- Research issues and cases to determine root cause and provide impact analysis for ongoing issues and changes and requests for new functionality
- Provide project plan trend analysis and control including analysis, research, development, and maintenance of the project data
- Responsible for vendor file updates and ongoing support
- Provide training for client on large-scale changes orders to client, and other stakeholders as needed
- Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and project management techniques
- Requires an individual to maintain the ability to work in an environment with PHI / PII data
- May be assigned other duties
- Must maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in operational/business/data analytics roles, preferably in the healthcare or technology industry
- 2+ years of experience in SQL
- Advanced level of experience in MS Excel, including complex formulas, lookups, and pivot tables
- Proven advanced knowledge of relational databases, data loads, and data extracts
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions and bring excellent interpersonal and client service skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated understanding of the fundamentals of healthcare and specifically risk adjustment chart retrieval
- Demonstrated understanding of provider TIN and NPI data within chart retrieval
- Intermediate level experience with MS Access or other databases, MS Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience with Snowflake
- Experience with Salesforce

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $60,200 to $107,400 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
