What You'll Do:
- Assist project managers in tracking timelines, deliverables, and overall project progress.
- Maintain project documentation, meeting notes, and reports to ensure alignment with objectives.
- Support the coordination of cross-functional teams, including IT, clinical, and administrative staff.
- Collect and analyze project-related data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare reports and dashboards to support decision-making and ensure transparency in project execution.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to project managers.
- Facilitate communication between project teams, hospital leadership, and external partners.
- Support training initiatives to help end-users adapt to the new EHR system.
- Assist in organizing meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
- Identify potential risks or roadblocks and collaborate on mitigation strategies.
- Recommend process improvements to optimize project workflows.
- Ensure compliance with VA regulations and best practices in project execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Business, or a related field required.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in project analysis, healthcare IT, or government contracting.
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems or healthcare technology projects is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate insights.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project).
- Experience with project management tools (JIRA, Smartsheet, or similar) is preferred.
- PMP or CAPM certification is a plus.
