Mon- Friday 8am-4:30pm

Major Responsibilities:

  • QUALITY-Achieving Clinical Excellence Maintains a variety of databases for Professional Development and Clinical Research.
    •     1)Assist with the collection, analysis, and presentation of clinical data. Develops and implements effective methods for data collection, analysis, and display. Including, but not limited to NDNQI Database, Capture Stroke Data Base, ART for Magnet reporting, Pathlore scheduling and reporting educational programs, RN Residency Versant Voyager and other databases as assigned
    •     2)Retrieves, researches, records, summarizes, analyzes and interprets specific statistical data for Professional Development and Clinical Research Team.
    •     3)Coverts raw data into a wide variety of reports and graphics for lectures and scientific presentations. Generate statistical analyses.
    •     4)Maintenance, analysis and reporting of nursing quality indicators for the National Database of Nursing Quality Indicators (NDNQI).
    •     5)Assist in the continued development and management of databases
    •     6)Maintains data security and subject privacy by keeping research data in locked files in secured locations. If using a computer to store research information, the computer will be password protected.
    •     7)Provides teams with data specific to their project and according to their defined needs including, but not limited to, data filtering, risk-adjustment, and other stratification using report-writing methodologies. Incorporates statistical process control when possible and appropriate.
    •     8)Obtains necessary data from source documents to conduct monitors, and makes recommendations for change or improvement to the Director
    •     9)Assists in designing methods for testing the validity and reliability of data. Verifies the accuracy of tabulated, computed and displayed data.
    •     10)Educates and supports internal and external customers on data analysis methods and findings.
  • SERVICE/PEOPLE Provides presentation design, graphics support for the Professional Development and Clinical Research Team and Clinical Leadership Team.
    •     1)Responds to requests from the Director, Program Manager and Clinical Nurse Specialists for specialized reports and analyses.
    •     2)Support the writing and publication of articles suitable for publication in peer-review journals.
    •     3)Develops and gives presentations to communicate progress in meeting identified outcomes to members of the health care team
    •     4)Performs literature searches to ensure the projects and indicators are using current information.
    •     5)Annual Report Assists in writing and provide presentation design and graphics support for Nursing Annual Report.
    •     6)Serves as a backup during peak production periods which includes assisting with organizing/producing meeting materials; preparing publications for printing and distributing meeting materials/publications to the appropriate parties.
  • QUALITY Provide support to new and existing education and quality projects for Professional Development and Clinical Research Team.
    •     1)Establish effective working relationships with members of the healthcare team(s), medical records staff, IT staff and other services whose support is necessary to the management and success of the program or project.
    •     2)Acts as a role model in fulfilling work commitments, seeking out and assuming additional responsibilities and assisting others.
  • D. SERVICE/PEOPLE Coordination and development of educational and communication tools including websites, reports and conferences.
    •     1)Web Page design and maintenance. Maintains website by posting new documents, editing text and revamping old web pages.
    •     2)Link with external sources for the recognition of nursing activities and achievements. Collaborate with other department to coordinates the release of information for internal and external communication vehicles to promote, recognize and publicize nursing activities.
  • SERVICE/PEOPLE Project Management: Execute projects, with accountability for meeting schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
    •     1)Create customized project plans for each assigned project, discuss and assign tasks to appropriate staff and update project on a timely basis.
    •     2)Follow up with team members accountable for project tasks and ensure that agreed upon time frames are met completely and accurately.
    •     3)Continually communicate status of project plan to internal and external team members
    •     4)Assure that timelines and customer satisfaction are met
    •     5)Work closely with team to proactively identify actual and potential problems.
    •     6)Facilitate discussions with appropriate team members and institute preventive steps to unsure tasks occur timely and accurately.
    •     7)Proactively identify and escalate critical issues.
    •     8)Assists the Professional Development Team with in-house and community event planning.
    •     9)Assists teams in identifying literature or on-line information relevant to the project being evaluated.
    •     10)Demonstrates Behavior-Based Expectations (BBEs) of Commit to Quality, Critical Thinking, and Communicate Clearly and the Tools associated with each.
  • ASSOCIATE SATISFACTION Maintains a commitment to own professional growth and competency.
    •     1)Actively participates and promotes the professional growth and change in healthcare.

Pay Range

$28.05 - $42.10
