Project Analyst - Oil and Gas

This is an opportunity to support high-impact projects within the Oil & Gas sector, working alongside experienced consulting teams and senior client stakeholders.

You will play a critical role in project governance, performance tracking, and decision support, helping ensure successful execution of complex transformation and operational improvement initiatives. This role offers excellent exposure to strategic programs while developing core consulting, project management, and analytical capabilities.

You will support the successful delivery of consulting engagements by helping project teams manage governance, track performance, monitor risks, and ensure alignment against strategic objectives.

Working closely with project leaders and client stakeholders, you will provide data-driven insights, maintain project controls, and develop executive-level materials that support effective decision-making.

• Support project governance activities, ensuring effective control of schedules, risks, actions, and deliverables

• Consolidate and monitor project KPIs, developing reports and performance dashboards

• Perform data analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement

• Develop high-quality executive presentations and management reports for clients and project leadership

• Support project planning, tracking, and control activities across multiple workstreams

• Organize project meetings, document key decisions, and monitor follow-up actions

• Maintain project documentation and ensure adherence to governance processes

• Contribute to the preparation of client deliverables and project status communications

• Promote discipline in project execution, ensuring deadlines, commitments, and deliverables are effectively managed

• Support continuous improvement initiatives, including the use of digital and AI-enabled solutions

You bring strong analytical thinking, a structured mindset, and the ability to work effectively in complex and fast-paced environments. You are comfortable working with data, managing multiple priorities, and supporting stakeholders through clear communication and high-quality deliverables.

• Experience supporting projects, PMO activities, business analysis, or consulting engagements

• Experience developing reports, dashboards, and management presentations

• Exposure to project planning, governance, performance monitoring, or operational improvement initiatives

• Experience within consulting, industrial, energy, or asset-intensive environments is advantageous

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality and accuracy

• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capability

• Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

• Results-oriented approach with a commitment to excellence in execution

• Advanced Excel, including data analysis, dashboards, and pivot tables

• Advanced PowerPoint with experience preparing executive-level presentations

• Knowledge of project planning, governance, and project controls

• Experience with Power BI, MS Project, or similar project management and reporting tools is desirable

• Familiarity with AI-enabled solutions and productivity tools is advantageous

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field

• Postgraduate qualification or certification in Project Management or Finance is advantageous

• Fluency in English required

• Willingness to travel as required
