THE OPPORTUNITY
Looking to live and work in Kelowna and/or Vancouver, British Columbia while doing what you love at a dynamic and Innovative consulting firm? We are looking for a Project Administrator to join our team at either location on a permanent full-time basis.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project setup using the project management/accounting software (Deltek Vantagepoint), including project structure, billing terms, client information, and documentation.
- Implementation of project changes, budget adjustments, and project/phase closeouts on Deltek VantagePoint.
- Assisting the project managers with budget control and change requests.
- Direct support to the project manager on activities such as project accounting, client communications, and procurement management.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Highschool Diploma.
- Minimum 1-2 years of administrative work experience.
- High proficiency using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe PDF.
- Ability to work on a team or by yourself to meet deadlines.
- Understanding of accounting processes such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit memos, write-offs, and the different types of contracts payments.
- Organizational skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Communication skills.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience in customer-facing roles, such as customer service, account management, or sales support, is required to improve client relationship management skills and ensure client satisfaction in billing interactions.
- Accounting Background.
- Post-secondary education is preferred.
- Proficiency or interest in working with numerical data.
- Strong computer skills.
- Education in Business Administration/ Management or related experience.
- Knowledge of project management processes and techniques.
- Experience using Deltek Vantagepoint.
