Harris is currently looking for an organized, detailed-oriented Project Accountant to work a hybrid work schedule based out of our Concord, Sacramento, or Irvine office. The Project Accountant will participate in the ownership of the project life cycle that includes, but is not limited to: project setup, subconsultant entry and tracking, entering and updating budgets, invoice creation and receipt of payment. Essential Project Accountant Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Project Management on all project/finance needs

• Review, Process, Prepare and submit monthly project invoices to clients for both T&M and Lump Sum projects
• Review, Process, and Pay subconsultant/vendor invoices

• Manage and Maintain Project Records, including but not limited to, setting up new projects/amendments in Deltek Vantagepoint based on contractual requirements

• Reviewing AR and assist Project Management team with collection on unpaid invoices
• Resource for the Project Accountant team
• Budget and Revenue Analysis
• Project Metrics Reporting
• Preparing Data for Analysis at Project Review Meetings
• Other as finance/accounting related projects as needed

Qualifications & Skills

• 3-5 years of related work experience in Finance or Accounting
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or other related fields
• Deltek Vantagepoint experience preferred, but not required
• Must be a team-player with a positive attitude
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Compensation & Benefits
The salary range for this position is between $75,000-$95,000 which will be determined based off experience level.
