As a Program/Project Manager in our Home Lending team, you will partner with the Business to define initiative scope, ensure appropriate governance on projects and programs, and coordinate resources across one or more complex, regulatory projects. This role offers the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment and may have the possibility of management in the future.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in business case development; managing and navigating traditional program/project, including budget and financials
- Successfully navigate within the organization to influence and get things done
- Operate in a lean but highly regulated/controlled environment
- Propel success criteria ensuring operational compliance and employee readiness
- Create and deliver executive communications & status reporting (e.g. project performance metrics/KPIs)
- Proactively identify obstacles and collaborate with team to identify options/solutions
- Must be a leader who leans in and is hands-on - superior people management and communication skills
- Must be able to take the steps to hold people accountable ranging from associates to directors
- Must be a master admin - document work, creating and maintaining a playbook of work, etc.
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in information technology and/or business operations in project experience
- Bachelor's Degree or in lieu 10+ more years of relevant experience
- Experience with program/projects in multiple technologies, functions and industries
- Excellent executive presence and experience creating/delivering executive presentations in MS PowerPoint
- Experience managing teams that are geographically distributed and culturally diverse
- Excellent written and oral communication skills. Sound judgment and conflict resolution skills
- Experience in moving teams from waterfall to agile methodology
- Experience in Banking Industry
Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
- Agile or Scrum Master training/certification
- Working knowledge of Consumer & Community Bank, IT and supporting Lines of Businesses
